On Wednesday the Portage Voyageurs announced that third year forward Brendan Lamb will wear the 'C' for this season, the Voyageur players voted on their team captains and Lamb was by far the voter favorite.
This years' assistant captains are; third year forward Chris Glen, second year defenceman Codie Kightley and second year forward Cody Mapes.
The Voyageurs open the season this Friday in Edmonton against the Concordia Thunder, Their home opener is this Saturday at 7pm, hosting the same Thunder team.
